So... after our amazing, relaxing Lake Michigan vacation we came home to Indy for about a week where we were able to celebrate our niece Sophia's 4th Birthday as well as the 4th of July. Then we left for Kansas City for our dear friend's wedding. We arrived back home from the wedding on a Sunday and then the following day boarded a plane and flew to Texas for two weeks. We went to Rockport, Texas first to visit with Dylan's dad & stepmom then we drove to South Padre Island to spend a few days with Dylan's mom's family. She is one of seven so there are many aunts, uncles and cousins to connect with, it is a really fun time. After the beach we drove 7 hours to Pflugerville (a suburb of Austin) where Dylan grew up and we were able to see lots of friends and family. Now we are back home in Indianapolis only to get Dylan packed up to leave for Training Camp! It has been a busy month of July but we have had a fantastic time being with so many people that we love. I will probably have numerous posts in the next few days to give you a glimpse of our crazy month!
4th of July Weekend & Sophia's 4th Birthday
I took my precious niece Sophia to the nail salon to have her fingernails and toenails painted. We had so much fun together and they definitely gave her the royal treatment. She loved it and when we left she said, 'the next time I come here I'm going to get these 2 colors'. Not sure what I have started with taking her to the salon, but it sure was fun! What a special girl and what a special memory!

We spent the 4th of July at Brandie's Aunt's Pool and then headed to the park for fireworks. We had a great day of relaxing and enjoying family!
Waiting for fireworks... we waited 2 hours only to find out that Caleb HATES them! He was terrified.
