One Month....
Sweet lil Abigail turned one month on the 13th! I can't believe it! So far she has been a pretty good baby doing the typical newborn things like eating every 2-3 hrs., having multiple blow outs, crying when she wants to eat or when she is sleepy and taking multiple naps. She loves to be snuggled in a blanket, her paci and being held. She started smiling at 3 weeks old, she smiled at me for the first time on Mother's Day which was very sweet. Caleb has been doing much better and loves to talk to her, hold her and hug her, we are still working on the concept of 'being gentle'. We are so thankful for Abigail's life and the blessing she is to our family. This first month has been full of joys and challenges as we continue to adjust to two kids. I know one of these days I wont feel so exhausted and will start to wear something more then just sweats! I just pray for strength, patience and grace for each new day and am trying to enjoy each moment as I know this stage is soooo short!

The Past Month...
Blogging has been a bit delayed as things have been a bit crazy around the Gandy household with a two year old and a newborn. Most days feel like 'survival' but we are loving our family of four and enjoying the blessing of our new lil addition, Abigail. Here are a few pictures from the past month....
Easter....
Caleb loved hunting for Easter Eggs. It was his first time.
He also loved the candy inside!
Easter basket time!
Family of Four
Mom Mom was here helping us for the week and was able to be here for Easter.
Happy 4 Year Anniversary to us! My parents babysat both kiddos and we were able to go to our favorite place for dinner to celebrate.
We loved FINALLY having warm temperatures last week. It has been raining for weeks so it was nice to have some warmth and sunshine! Caleb loved being outside!
Our good friends, the Utechts were in town and we were able to get together with them as well as some other friends here in Indy. It was so fun getting all of the kiddos together but a lil crazy too!

She's Here!
Abigail (A Father's Joy) Kaelynne (Pure) arrived via c-section on Wednesday, April 13th at 7:52am and weighed 9 lbs and 20 inches long. She is such a sweetie and we are just in love with her. We are so incredibly thankful for a healthy, beautiful baby girl and for a safe delivery. Adjusting to two children has been a bit difficult as Caleb has had a somewhat rough transition. We keep praying for his lil heart and for strength, patience and grace for us as parents as we love on him and try to guide him through this time. Below are a few pictures, she couldn't be more opposite looking then her brother!
Her middle name, Kaelynne is my mom's Kae (right) and Dylan's mom's (left) Lynne middle names combined.

The BIG 2!!
Two years ago my life changed. I became a mom. A mom to a sweet lil baby boy named Caleb who has taught me so many things about life and love and how Jesus loves me. Caleb you have filled my heart with so much joy and I am so thankful for your lil life and the boy you are becoming.
Two years ago.....
One year ago....
Today.....
We celebrated his second birthday Lightning McQueen style. Caleb LOVES the movie Cars so I thought what a better way to celebrate but to decorate with the characters from the movie. We kept it more low key this year and just had family over for cake and ice cream.
He loved hearing everyone sing Happy Birthday to him!
We did have a melt down. He was a bit overwhelmed with the gifts and wanted them all out of their boxes at the same time. Yikes.
I love this picture that Aunt Brandie got of him.
The next day we had Caleb's buddy Dane over for a lil birthday celebration. Dane is 2 days younger then Caleb so I thought it would be fun to have a lil party for them.
They are so cute together.

Happy Birthday Dylan & Swim Class
I dedicate this blog post to my wonderful husband, Dylan. What a blessing his life is. He not only is an incredible husband but also an amazing dad. Dylan spent his birthday evening in a pool with Caleb for Caleb's first swim lesson. Since I'm about as big as a whale and have a tough time picking up Caleb right now I decided my role in swim class would be the photographer. I'm sure everyone was thankful that the pregnant mom opted to not get in a swim suit!
I love watching these two together. They are such buds.
Caleb's favorite part was going down the slide!
After swim class we celebrated Dylan's bday with cake & ice cream. Words really can't express how thankful I am for his life and the honor it is to be his wife. He truly is God's greatest gift to me and most days I feel very undeserved of the love & grace he shows me. Especially right now. I'm not the easiest person to be around when I'm pregnant, especially in the last few weeks. Dylan has consistently showered grace upon me as well as helped me in so many ways. He is a remarkable man, a loving husband and a faithful father. So here's to you babe and your 29th year. Please hurry up and turn 30 so we can be in the same decade :-)
Fun Times
At the beginning of March our good friend's The Thomas' came to visit from Chapel Hill, NC. They used to live across the street from us and we miss them very much so it was really great having them come stay with us! While they were here we did our annual reunion with our group of friends in Brown County, Indiana.
The kiddos.... Caleb, Dane, Jackson & Ashlyn
Caleb loves his buddy Dane!
Such a cutie!!
