Once again I've waited too long to blog....

This is how the Gandy's have been feeling this week. Sleepy. We have had three back to back, very fun filled/full weekends! We are thankful that we get to catch up a little bit the next couple of weekends. We are back up in Detroit. Dylan signed another one year contract with the Lions (thank you Jesus) and is in Spring Training right now. We are in the process of looking for a place to rent for the rest of Spring Training and the 2010 football season.Caleb's First Birthday! Caleb turned ONE on March 23rd and we celebrated BIG time! I kept telling people that first birthday parties are more for the parents then the child because they are a time to celebrate that we made it through our first year! Victory! We had family and a few very close friends over the Saturday before his birthday to celebrate Cowboy style. Dylan did a fabulous job BBQ'ing and we had a blast watching Caleb dominate and demolish his cake! We are so thankful for his life. Maybe when I have more time I will sit down and write about the joy that swells my heart for being blessed with the priviledge of being Caleb's Mommy. Thank you Jesus for the gift of his life!

This is how we celebrated on the day of his birthday! A bit more low key then the Saturday before.

What a mess. He is the messiest eater I have ever seen. It is an experience watching him rub food everywhere.

Heather and Patrick's Wedding: Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The weekend after Caleb's birthday party we packed our bags, boarded a plane and went to celebrate the marriage of our dear friend's Heather & Patrick. Chapel Hill is beautiful and we had a blast being with our good friend's from Indy, touring UNC's campus and attending the wedding. So fun being apart of their special weekend and day!

Caleb trying pickles for the first time. YUCK. I.Hate.Pickles.

I love this picture and think it is so precious. Caleb and Sylvie were born on the same day and our sweet lil friends. While we were at the wedding they both fell asleep at the same time with the babysitter. They were so exhausted. Aren't they so cute?!

Mr. & Mrs. Brady!!!

Great Friends!

Easter!!! The weekend after Patrick and Heather's wedding we packed our bags and drove back to Indy for the weekend. The 4.5 hr. drive back to Indy is getting a bit more challenging with a one year old but somehow we always make it. We so enjoyed being back at home and being with family and friend's. We loved being back at our church Easter morning to celebrate our Risen King!
