10 Months

We cannot believe our lil boy is Ten Months old! In less than two months we will be celebrating his first year! Words cannot express what a lil joy he is! Nine Months brought crawling, eating table food and his first Christmas. Ten months has brought pulling himself up to just about anything, his 8th tooth, falling and bumping his head because he thinks he can walk, exploring all over the house, clapping and playing our version of 'chase'. His personality has really come out these past two months. He LOVES eating... his new favorites are blueberries, grapes, peas and Ritz crackers. Here are some pictures from his first week of being 10 Months, as well as a fun video!
He has mastered crawling... he is pretty quick!

You gotta love this cutie lil face!

Hilarious Video of Caleb

Here is a video of Caleb at 8 Months that I meant to post a while ago. The place we lived in Michigan had windows that touched the floor so Caleb loved looking out of them! Enjoy!

2010

We have had a busy start to 2010...
From a visit from Dylan's mom & stepdad to the last game of the season to moving back to Indianapolis then to Dylan having a sports hernia and needing surgery! The past couple of weeks have been CRAZY!!!!

End of the Season...
Dylan has loved playing on the O-Line with Daniel Loper. Daniel and Dylan were teammates at Texas Tech as well as roommates. We have enjoyed being with the Loper Family this football season. Daniel and his wife Jen have a little girl, Savannah who is 3 months younger then Caleb.
Dylan's mom (Cindy) and stepdad (Mike) came up for a visit at the end of the season. They were able to attend the last game of the season, which was fun, as well as be a HUGE help in helping us get packed up for our move back to Indianapolis!
Little Lions... Savannah and Caleb

The last game of the season was Dylan's 5th game to start. From a personal and professional standpoint, Dylan had a really great season. We are so grateful for the opportunity God gave him with the Lions this season. Words really can't describe how proud I am to be his wife. It truly has been amazing to see him come so far from such a difficult and challenging season last year. He has worked so hard to be where he is and I am so thankful for his work ethic and the man that he is. I love that Caleb has such a wonderful example to look up to.
This is one of my favorite pictures

Back home again in Indiana!
The morning after we moved back to Indy (it was our 8th move in 2.5 yrs. of being married) welcomed us with 5 inches of snow! We have LOVED being home and have enjoyed 'settling in' and seeing family and friends. It was such a refreshing blessing to be back at our church this morning. We missed Common Ground (our church) and the community that we have there terribly!
Taking Caleb out in the snow for the first time! Poor Daddy had to be the cameraman as he is healing from surgery.

December

December is always a crazy month for everyone... from the shopping to the wrapping to the parties to the family gatherings to the baking to the excessive eating; it is truly the most WONDERFUL time of the year but also one of the busiest! For us it included all of the above but add in celebrating my 30th birthday to a super bad cold for Caleb and I to football games to driving five hours to see family. Woah.. now you can see why I am so behind in my blogging...

Here are some of my favorite moments from December 2009

Celebrating my 30th Birthday with wonderful friends in Chicago! Here we are on Michigan Ave. What a FUN girls weekend!

Josh, Brandie, Sophia & Jackson came to Michigan for a visit!

Stoneking Christmas
This picture represents peace... something that is hard to find in the midst of such a busy season. I am so thankful for the PEACE that God gave in the birth of His Son Jesus over 2000 years ago.

Visit With Santa & the Worst Christmas Tree EVER

We took Caleb for his first visit with Santa this week! He looks like such a big boy in these pictures!

Our Christmas Tree died this week. It truly has to be the worst tree in Christmas Tree history. Each day got worse with needles everywhere and bulbs falling off and breaking. I woke up one morning to more broken Christmas Tree decorations on the ground and decided to take the whole thing down! It was a GIGANTIC mess. I have titled my pictures, 'Christmas Tree from Hell.' I told Dylan that experiences like this would turn anyone into an artificial tree owner. I think we will be cleaning up needles for a long time. Ugggh what a mess! Good thing the real meaning of Christmas doesn't involve trees.
We did decide to get another tree. Here is tree number 2. Hopefully it wont die!

Fun Times in Cinci

Caleb and I took to the roads once again a few weekends ago. We are getting pretty good at these 4+ hour drives! We traveled to Cincinnati to visit good friends and to watch Dylan START in his first game of the season! WOO HOO! We stayed with our friends Ben & Karyn and their lil girl Elleora who is 3 weeks older then Caleb. Caleb and Elle had a lot of fun playing together!

Playing a fun game of peek a boo. I love this picture.

The Bengals Stadium. Our seats were soooo high! I am terrified of heights so this was extremely scary for me. The over dramatic side of me came out when I kept shouting, 'I'm going to die' or 'we might as well sit on the roof'. It was awful. Thankfully the kind security guard let me move down before I fainted.
This is my sweet friend Lisa Porges who was on summer project with me 8 years ago! It was so fun being at the game with her!

Our good friends from our bible study back in Indianapolis drove in for the game. It was SO GREAT seeing them. We miss them all terribly!

Oh Christmas Tree... Oh Christmas Tree...

Caleb enjoyed his first tree decorating experience. So fun having a baby around this Christmas!
